Clarisse's analysis
Durek Verrett is the American who presents himself as a sixth-generation shaman, an author and, since August 2024, the husband of Princess Märtha Louise of Norway. His claims about healing have been widely criticized. His birth time isn't confirmed, so no rising sign or houses: we're reading the planets by sign. Good news, his Moon stays in the same sign all day.
Four planets in Scorpio: magnetism
His Sun is in Scorpio, with Mercury, Venus and Mars. Intense, magnetic energy, drawn to mystery, death, rebirth and transformation. Scorpio fascinates as much as it unsettles, exactly the effect Durek has on the Norwegian public.
Capricorn Moon: the need for recognition
His Moon is in Capricorn. A need for structure, status and recognition. Marrying into a royal family, one of the oldest institutions in Europe, speaks directly to this Moon.
Jupiter in Pisces: faith
Jupiter in Pisces is luck that comes through spirituality, faith and the invisible. He built his career on that ground.
North Node in Sagittarius: the mission to teach
His North Node is in Sagittarius, like Märtha Louise's Jupiter and Neptune: his life mission runs through teaching, beliefs and traveling between cultures, and it meets the princess's spiritual quest.
With Märtha Louise
Durek's Uranus and Pluto in Libra fall in the sign of the princess's Libra Venus: a love that turns everything upside down. No wonder their wedding made so much noise.
The bottom line
Scorpio magnetism, a Capricorn Moon hungry for recognition and a man whose love story with a princess shook an entire kingdom.
